SSM Initiatives For 2026
The Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) has announced four (4) key initiatives for the year 2026, focusing on enhancing the level of corporate compliance, and reducing the burden on the business community, particularly micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
The implementation of the first and second initiatives will commence on 16 April 2026, while the third and fourth initiatives will take effect from 1 June 2026.
The key SSM initiatives for 2026 are as follows:-
- Compliance Clinic and Statutory Document Recovery Campaign
- 1 OKU 1 Business Scheme (S1O1P)
- Extension of Free Business Registration Scheme (SPPP)
- Free Business Registration Scheme for Senior Citizens (SPPWE)
