SSM Introduces Electronic Beneficial Ownership System (e-BOS)
The Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) has introduced the Electronic Beneficial Ownership System (e-BOS) which was effective on 1 April 2024, in line with the enforcement of Companies (Amendment) Act 2024.E-BOS is a platform utilizes by Company Secretaries, to update SSM by helping companies report and manage beneficial ownership information, which helps to strengthen corporate transparency and facilitate compliance.
